After two decades of marriage, I now find myself single once more.

Interacting with other single women in various stages of divorce, some having been divorced for years, has made me realize that the challenges are very real, and I am not alone in this journey.

The loneliness, feelings of unworthiness, depression, and emotional ups and downs can be overwhelming at times. It’s important to acknowledge that men also go through similar struggles.

Having a teenage daughter at the time, I had to push myself to get out of bed every day, not wanting her to witness my breakdown under the weight of it all.

As wives, we often give so much of ourselves to our husbands, children, and extended families that we forget who we are as individuals.

I had to pause and ask myself: who am I?

What do I want in this phase of my life?

How can I navigate being a single woman in a society that idealizes marriage?

So, I ask you, who are you?

Join me as I navigate this path as a single woman. I am here to share my journey and how I have managed to persevere thus far with the support of my faith.
